Alexandre Bergel and Guillaume Pothier visited the GEODES lab. from the Hasso-Plattner Institut and University of Chile, respectively. Alexandre presented his work on method namespaces.
Alexandre Bergel, from the Hasso-Plattner Institut (the research and education arm of SAP), visited our lab. on his way to Chile before moving to Lille to work with Stéphane Ducasse. He is well known for his work on classboxes. He presented a seminar on method namespaces. His presentation fostered interesting discussions and ideas for future work.
Guillaume Pothier also visited the GEODES lab. from University of Chile to help install his and Eric Tanter's scalable omniscient debugger, which promises to ease debugging a lot!
