A FAQ on the special issue of IEEE Software magazine on Software Evolution
- What are the deadlines? The deadlines slightly changed wrt. the CfP:
- Articles due: 09/11/01
- Notification: 09/12/17
- Revisions due: 10/01/13
- Special issue: Jul/Aug, Vol. 27, No. 4
- Which template should prospective authors use? Is there a specific IEEE Software LaTeX template? There is no template, because IEEE SW re-does all the formatting for the accepted papers. The authors can use whatever format they want, as long as it is clear and simple and respects the author guide posted on the Web. A few notes:
- single column is preferred (easier to review)
- sections are not numbered, so cross-references are impossible
- there is no footnotes in final IEEE SW papers
- 15 refs max
- please adhere strictly to the 5400-word limit (including 200 per figure/table).
- Will the review by blind or double-blind? Single blind. Reviewers will know who the authors are.
