Simple steps to use the examples provided with the release of Taupe.
Some input files collected by two eye-trackers in two experiments are available along the source code of Taupe in the file Taupe_src_rsc.zip. The folders where the input files are located are:
- Taupe/rsc/visitor2008/
- Taupe/rsc/mvc2010/
More details on using the files in Taupe are available in its user's guide. Simply, two parameters must be set in Taupe before using these files, in File -> Preferences:
- Data directory for experiments: its value is the "subjects" folder in each folders.
- Data directory for diagrams: its value is the "questions" folder in each folders.
Then, the user must load the input files, using File -> Load, to parse and display the data from the eye-tracking, using the data in the "question" folders. Without restarting Taupe, the user should redefine the folder above when parsing the files.
The user must choose the appropriate type of parser according to the experiments:
- EyeLink II for "visitor2008".
- GazeTracker for "mvc2010".
